Checking if I can make the changes for you.

Identifying tool requirements.

Reading docs for: "How do I move and place components and connectors on the PCB layout in Flux, align them to the board edge, rotate/flip, lock placement, and move mounting holes? Also how to respect edge setbacks/keepouts for USB-C? Steps and shortcuts."

Preparing to provide instructions.

Clarifying component linking rules.

Explaining placement capabilities.

Short answer: moving and placing components on the PCB is a human-only action in Flux. I can add/remove parts, make net connections, and set the board size, but I cannot drag components, change their placement, or route traces for you.
How to place and orient components in Flux (from the docs): "### How do I start the PCB layout after completing the schematic?
Click the PCB tab. Your schematic components become footprints on the board. Define the board outline and arrange components based on the ratsnest. For more information checkout this Getting started tutorial
How do I rotate or flip components?
  • Rotate: Use the ] or [ keys or the context menu.
  • Flip: Press F while a component is selected.
How do I use the grid snapping feature?
Flux does not use a grid system for alignment instead Flux offers a variety of tools to make sure components are perfectly and easily aligned, these include;
  • Snapping
  • Alignment guides
  • “Space Evenly” and “Align” tools" Source
If you’d like, I can keep handling the parts selection, power-stage sizing, and connections; you can then place the connectors on the short edges, and I’ll help review DRC and routing strategy afterward.

  • Ground
A common return path for electric current. Commonly known as ground.
  • Net Portal
Wirelessly connects nets on schematic. Used to organize schematics and separate functional blocks. To wirelessly connect net portals, give them same designator. #portal
  • Power Net Portal
Wirelessly connects power nets on schematic. Identical to the net portal, but with a power symbol. Used to organize schematics and separate functional blocks. To wirelessly connect power net portals, give them the same designator. #portal #power

  • Generic Capacitor
A generic fixed capacitor ideal for rapid circuit topology development. You can choose between polarized and non-polarized types, its symbol and the footprint will automatically adapt based on your selection. Supported options include standard SMD sizes for ceramic capacitors (e.g., 0402, 0603, 0805), SMD sizes for aluminum electrolytic capacitors, and through-hole footprints for polarized capacitors. Save precious design time by seamlessly add more information to this part (value, footprint, etc.) as it becomes available.
