Light Pipe Design

Created a parametric set of four individual clear-PETG light pipes, aligned with the existing lid holes and LEDs.

  • The Ø2.85 mm stems have a tight provisional friction fit in the Ø3.0 mm holes.
  • Physical fit, brightness, and optical crosstalk require a test print.
Recommended next steps
  1. Print caps-down in transparent PETG with supports disabled and a removable 3–5 mm brim.
  2. Use solid infill, slow external walls, and verify that the slicer shows four separate parts.
  3. Test one pipe first; lightly sand or polish the optical ends if needed.

Integral Clip Rebuild Gates
Disposition
SELF-REJECTED / BLOCKED before geometry authoring or upload. No enclosure asset or model-node rule was created, updated, deleted, or activated in this attempt. The active base was left untouched by this attempt; this does not certify the existing base. Only this report was added.
Completed inspection
Read the full source (6354 characters) of the

, and the full diagnostic clip source (7315 characters). Enumerated current assets and inspected the live PCB model-node list and stackup. Base node e1624f1e-3622-4d57-a788-d32b786cb9e0 exists under Root; nominal stackup thickness is 1.50 mm.
Important donor discrepancy: the named full-base donor still explicitly subtracts the J4 DC opening using base=base-(Pos(OUTER_X/2-WALL/2,DC_CENTER_Y,DC_WINDOW_ZC)*Box(WALL+2.0,DC_WINDOW_Y,DC_WINDOW_Z)). It must not be assumed to contain the requested closed DC wall. A subsequent rebuild must preserve its relay windows, lid interface, ears and ledges while removing that DC-opening subtraction.
Direct scene-tree inspection omitted model asset/position/active rules. Indexed lookup reports the existing base node references water-level-enclosure-base-pcb-snap-clips.build123d at (45,-50,0) mm, but this is indexed evidence, not a fresh direct verification of its asset rule. No replacement was activated, and no claim is made that the active model points to a verified replacement.
Specific execution blocker
The computation sandbox reports Python 3.13.5, OCP 7.9.3.1 available, but build123d unavailable (ModuleNotFoundError). Package recovery via the local cache failed: pip install --no-index build123d returned No matching distribution found for build123d. The URL attachment was also not materialized in that sandbox, although the file-reading tool successfully supplied the source text. Source text can be passed inline; missing Build123d is the decisive blocker.
The available project-asset mutation tool compiles as part of create/update, but offers no validation-only operation. Using it to test a candidate would upload/persist before all gates had passed, contrary to the explicit instruction. Therefore it was not called. Direct OCP reconstruction would not establish that the complete delivered Build123d program compiles and was not substituted for that test.

Requirements retained for a resumed build
PETG, 0.4 mm nozzle; two truly integral left/right PCB edge clips bending in XY with the base printed floor-down. Flexure thickness 1.6 mm; clear compliant length at least 12.8 mm (exclude root fillet and rigid hook/tab spans); contact span at least 4 mm where possible; 0.4 mm horizontal top-edge hook engagement; physically overlapping 45-degree insertion lead-in; actual 1.0 mm concave load-bearing wall/beam root fillet; accessible outward-push release tabs. Existing ledges support the PCB underside. Preserve corrected relay openings, closed DC wall, lid interface and wall ears.
Use measured required outward deflection including clearance, and actual compliant length in strain ≈ 1.5*t*d/L²; require <=0.02. This is a beam estimate, not fatigue-life qualification. Verify no layer has a floating start, and do not infer floor-down printability merely from one-solid connectivity.
Handoff
Resume only in an environment able to execute the full Build123d source and create genuine read-back sections before project asset persistence. Compile and check the complete base, then collision/motion/strain/printability gates, then upload and independently read back the activated node. The assigned rebuild is not completed; the safe non-activation requirement is completed. Existing enclosure quality and any concurrent thread changes are outside this attempt's certification.
