ESP32 Stepper Driver Level Shifter Design

Use two 1×15 female header sockets on this PCB, then plug your 30-pin ESP32 DevKit into them like a removable module.

Assembly steps:

Solder one 1×15 female header into each side of the ESP32 socket footprint J1.
Keep both headers vertical and parallel while soldering. Easiest method: plug the headers onto the ESP32 DevKit first, insert the whole assembly into the PCB, then solder the headers to the PCB.
After soldering, unplug/replug the ESP32 as needed.
Match the ESP32 orientation to the board silkscreen and pin labels — especially VIN/5V, GND, GPIO 25/26/27/32/33/18/19/23.

Do not solder the ESP32 module directly unless you want it permanent. The intended build is socketed with female headers.
