Designing a complete product in Flux means developing the electronics and mechanical design together—schematic, PCB, enclosure, connectors, mounting, and assembly fit—with checks as the design evolves.
- PCB-first: Start with the circuit, then size and lay out the board. Build the enclosure around the board, connector locations, and mounting holes. This suits electronics-driven products, though the enclosure may need to grow to accommodate the board.
- Enclosure-first: Start with the product’s shape, size, controls, and mounting constraints. Fit the PCB and connectors into that space. This suits products where appearance or installation governs the design, but may require more board-layout iteration.
Both workflows are iterative: the starting point sets the constraints, but the PCB and enclosure still need to be checked together. This was an overview only; I made no project changes. Execution stopped because your ACUs ran out.
