Purpose

Separate the current fitted BOM into:

parts intended for JLCPCB PCB assembly / LCSC sourcing, and
parts to hand-source and/or hand-solder after board fabrication.

H1-H4 mounting holes and J3 optional RF header are excluded from the production BOM and pick-and-place unless intentionally populated later.

JLCPCB / LCSC Assembly Candidates

These are the small SMD parts and HDMI connector that are good candidates for JLCPCB assembly. Confirm current LCSC/JLC availability at order time.

Ordering Steps

Upload Gerber ZIP to JLCPCB and confirm board dimensions, drill holes, and layer count.
Upload the JLCPCB BOM CSV and pick-and-place file for assembly.
Check JLCPCB part matching for all JLC assembly candidates.
Remove or mark as customer-supplied any parts JLCPCB cannot source or you want to hand-solder.
Separately order hand-sourced parts: Pico 2, TOSLINK receiver, RCA jack, switch if not assembled, and optional J3 header if desired.
Order a small prototype quantity first.
On receipt, inspect soldering, connector fit, mounting holes, and edge connector alignment before powering.
