Designing a complete product in Flux means developing the electronics and mechanical design together—moving from requirements through schematic, PCB layout, enclosure, and manufacturing checks, while keeping connectors, mounting points, power, and fit coordinated.
- PCB-first: Start with the circuit, then size and lay out the board, and build the enclosure around it. This works well when electrical performance and component placement drive the product; the trade-off is less freedom over the final shape.
- Enclosure-first: Start with the product’s shape, dimensions, controls, and connector openings, then design the PCB to fit. This works well for handheld devices or fixed mounting spaces; the trade-off is tighter placement, routing, and thermal constraints.
Both workflows are iterative: board and enclosure need fit checks together before fabrication. I haven’t changed your project this turn; execution stopped because your ACUs ran out.
