Below is the proposed design for the logic circuit:
  1. Input Section:
    • Add three push-buttons designated as inputs A, B, and C.
    • Each push-button is set up with a pull‑down resistor to ensure a defined low state when not pressed.
  2. Logic Section:
    • Use three AND gates to create the terms:
      • AND1: Inputs A and B.
      • AND2: Inputs A and C.
      • AND3: Inputs B and C.
    • Combine the outputs of the AND gates with a three-input OR gate.
    • This implements the logic function:
      F=AB+AC+BCF = A \cdot B + A \cdot C + B \cdot C
  3. Output Section:
    • Connect the output of the OR gate to an LED indicator.
    • Include a current-limiting resistor (typically between 330Ω to 470Ω) with the LED.
  4. IC Selection:
    • If you need help with selecting specific logic ICs:
      • A common option for implementing the AND functions is using the 74HC08, which contains multiple AND gates.
      • For the OR function, you can use the 74HC32.
