Completed: Removed the legacy actuator shunt, current-sense controller, four-MOSFET master actuator-disconnect stage, fault latch/status comparator, and their dedicated support parts.
Completed: Removed all six legacy BTS7008 ABS/ATTESA/A-LSD/ATTESA-pump output stages and their stage-specific decoupling, default-off, and diagnostic scaling/filter parts.
Completed: Added the requested new driver quantities: 4 × BTS7008-2EPA, 1 × BTS7004-1EPZ, 1 × BTS71040-4ESA device (Flux library orderable OPN BTS710404ESAXUMA1), and 2 × TLE94108ES.
Completed: No new driver control, enable, SPI, diagnostic, fault, or current-sense interface is connected to an MCU. All such interfaces are local named nets or intentional no-connects.
Completed: PCB placement and routing were not touched.
Partially completed: Obsolete legacy one-pin MCU/gating net stubs remain. Removing the entire 74HC08 gating set was attempted but atomically reverted because U8 also participates in the existing MCU reset-release/safety path. These stubs are listed under ERC findings.

The TLE94108ES relay outputs are intended to be programmed as high-side half-bridge outputs. The specified 150–200 mA coils are below the device protection threshold and are within its relay application scope. Unused half-bridge outputs are intentionally left open, matching the datasheet recommendation.
Supply mapping
U201–U205 VS: VBAT_PROTECTED.
U206 exposed-pad VS supply: VBAT_PROTECTED; VDD is derived from 5V through R206_VDD = 470 Ω with C206_VDD = 470 nF.
U207/U208 VS1 and VS2: VBAT_PROTECTED.
U207/U208 VDD: 5V.
All signal grounds and TLE94108ES exposed pads: GND.
No onboard actuator fuse was added. Existing external vehicle-side protection remains authoritative.
Support circuitry
Each BTS7008 block has 100 nF VS filtering and 47 nF fast-transient buffering.
U201 includes a complete local diagnostic chain: 1.2 kΩ sense resistor, 4.7 kΩ protection/filter resistors, and 220 pF filtering. Its four logic interfaces include series protection and default-low pulls.
U202–U204 logic inputs, DEN, and DSEL have default-low 10 kΩ resistors. Their IS pins are intentional no-connects for later diagnostic architecture review.
U205 includes 100 nF and 47 nF supply filtering; IN and DEN have 4.7 kΩ default-low treatment; IS is intentionally left open.
U206 includes 470 nF VDD filtering, 100 nF VS filtering, 22 nF transient buffering, and a 1.2 kΩ sense resistor. Unused IN1–IN3 are each tied low through 10 kΩ. OUT1–OUT3 are intentionally open.
U207/U208 each have 100 nF VDD decoupling, 100 nF VS ceramic bypass, and 10 µF local VS bulk capacitance.
Official Infineon datasheets were consulted through Flux. The returned OCR evidence did not expose usable inline Flux citation IDs in this session, so this file records the implemented values and verification outcome without fabricated citations.
U20 and its ABS-warning/4WD-warning/spare-output support were deliberately preserved because they are not part of the removed ABS/ATTESA/A-LSD solenoid or relay architecture.
Verification and remaining ERC findings
Fresh inspection confirmed:
Correct requested device quantities.
All new driver power and ground pins connected.
All required load outputs connected; all duplicate power-output pins are joined.
No floating new power/load pins.
No new driver interface net contains an MCU pin.
The fresh ERC set contains 46 single-pin-net findings and no floating-power, pin-conflict, shorted-component, or missing-decoupling findings in the checked categories.
Intentional/new review findings include:
Local SPI/enable/LHI portals awaiting MCU allocation.
ABS_MAIN_ACTUATOR_RELAY and ABS_MOTOR_RELAY because no connector assignment exists in the live schematic.
U201 protected interface endpoints that intentionally terminate at local portals.
Legacy one-pin stubs remain on removed-stage MCU/gating nets, including ACT_PWR_STATUS_MCU2, ACT_PWR_CLEAR_MCU2, ACT_PWR_EN_MCU2, former U3/U4/U5/U10/U11 diagnostic nets, former ABS DSEL nets, and old gated command outputs. They were not connected to the new drivers. A later dedicated MCU-pin-reclamation pass should disconnect and mark those MCU pins intentionally unused while preserving the shared reset/safety logic.
Focused audit remediation
Removed U6, U7, U8, U50, and shared gate decoupler C_U8_DEC after confirming the chain only authorized the retired actuator outputs. Independent watchdog and battery-supervision components were retained.
Preserved protected-spare-I/O paths ABS_RR_IN_CMD (MCU2 GPIO43 + R35) and ABS_RR_OUT_CMD (MCU2 GPIO44 + R36); only their obsolete U8 branches were removed.
Disconnected and explicitly no-connected 22 former command, diagnostic, DSEL, actuator-disconnect status/control, and reset-authorization MCU pins. U201's four unassigned protected interface resistor endpoints were also converted from single-pin labels to explicit no-connect endpoints.
Added U206 safe defaults: R206_LHI_PD, R206_SI_PD, and R206_SCLK_PD = 10 kΩ to GND; R206_CSN_PU = 10 kΩ to U206_VDD_FILTERED; U206 SO is explicit no-connect.
Added U207 safe defaults: R207_EN_PD, R207_SDI_PD, and R207_SCLK_PD = 10 kΩ to GND; R207_CSN_PU = 10 kΩ to 5V; U207 SDO is explicit no-connect.
Added U208 safe defaults: R208_EN_PD, R208_SDI_PD, and R208_SCLK_PD = 10 kΩ to GND; R208_CSN_PU = 10 kΩ to 5V; U208 SDO is explicit no-connect.
Added R_U20_DSEL0_PD = 10 kΩ to GND so retained U20 DSEL0 is no longer an accidental floating input.
Deleted the obsolete ABS_RL_IN_CMD_GATED net identifier; all other retired one-pin net memberships and visible endpoints were removed by disconnecting their final pins. Empty historical net identifiers may remain in the canonical net catalog but produce no ERC finding or connected label.
Fresh ERC after remediation: 3 errors, all expected single-pin external load nets deliberately left unassigned in this pass: ABS_MAIN_ACTUATOR_RELAY (U207 OUT1), ABS_MOTOR_RELAY (U207 OUT2), and ATTESA_FAILSAFE_SOL (J_MAIN:34). No floating-pin, power-pin, pin-conflict, shorted-component, undriven-net, or missing-decoupling findings remain in the checked categories.
ABS outlet architecture revision
Confirmed outlet rating recorded on all four outlet nets: 2.3 A nominal, 2.4 A peak.
Final ABS power-switch population is U201 and U203 (2 × BTS7008-2EPA, inlet-only) plus U209 (1 × BTS71040-4ESA, outlet-only). U206 remains the separate A-LSD BTS71040 and was unchanged.
Removed superseded ICs U202 and U204 with C202_VS, C202_VSGND, R202_IN0_PD, R202_IN1_PD, R202_DEN_PD, R202_DSEL_PD, C204_VS, C204_VSGND, R204_IN0_PD, R204_IN1_PD, R204_DEN_PD, and R204_DSEL_PD. Their empty local control nets were deleted.
Added U209 support: C209_VDD 470 nF, C209_VS 100 nF, C209_VSGND 22 nF; R209_VDD 470 Ω; R209_IN0_PD through R209_IN3_PD, R209_LHI_PD, R209_SI_PD, R209_SCLK_PD, and R209_CSN_PU at 10 kΩ; R209_IS 1.2 kΩ.
U209 safe inactive state: IN0–IN3, LHI, SI, and SCLK pulled low; CSN pulled high to U209_VDD_FILTERED; SO and n.c. pins explicit no-connect. All control/diagnostic nets are local and contain no MCU pin.
U207 and U208 relay drivers were not modified. Connector assignments were not changed; ABS_RR_IN, ABS_RR_OUT, ABS main relay, and ABS motor relay remain unresolved as requested.
Fresh ERC remains 3 expected single-pin external load findings: ABS_MAIN_ACTUATOR_RELAY, ABS_MOTOR_RELAY, and ATTESA_FAILSAFE_SOL. No new floating-power/control or decoupling findings remain in the checked categories.
Relay-domain remapping
U207 remains the ABS-focused TLE94108ES: OUT1 → ABS_MAIN_ACTUATOR_RELAY; OUT2 → ABS_MOTOR_RELAY. No separate live ABS pump-relay net, connector endpoint, or physical coil representation exists, so ABS motor/pump equivalence remains unresolved and no duplicate net was invented.
U208 OUT2 was removed from intentional no-connect and connected to the existing ATTESA_FAILSAFE_SOL net. No connector net or assignment was renamed.
Both TLE devices retain their existing VBAT_PROTECTED/5V/GND support and safe inactive EN/SPI pull configuration. Inspection confirms no MCU pin is present on either TLE control-interface net.
Fresh ERC after remapping: 2 expected single-pin external-load findings, ABS_MAIN_ACTUATOR_RELAY and ABS_MOTOR_RELAY, both awaiting unresolved connector/physical-coil assignments.
Connector reassignment
J_MAIN:41 was disconnected from ABS_FL_OUT_OEM106 and reassigned to ABS_MAIN_ACTUATOR_RELAY. Final membership: J_MAIN:41 + U207 OUT1.
J_MAIN:43 was disconnected from ABS_RL_OUT_OEM110 and reassigned to ABS_MOTOR_RELAY. Final membership: J_MAIN:43 + U207 OUT2.
ABS_FL_OUT_OEM106 remains connected to U209 OUT0 only; ABS_RL_OUT_OEM110 remains connected to U209 OUT2 only.
The connector called J2 resolves to J_SPARE, TE Connectivity 6473423-1, a 26-position connector rated 7 A in the current component data. Inspection found every signal cavity represented by J_SPARE pins 1–21 already assigned to protected spare-I/O nets; pins 22–23 are GND, pin 24 is 3V3, pin 25 is 5V, and pin 26 is the sole reserved/no-connect cavity. Therefore no pair of genuinely unused cavities exists, adjacent or otherwise, without displacing an existing assignment.
J_SPARE/J2 assignment of ABS_FL_OUT_OEM106 and ABS_RL_OUT_OEM110 is blocked and unattempted because the instruction prohibited displacing another net. No J_SPARE assignments were changed, and J2 routing remains deferred.
Rear-right inlet/outlet assignments were not changed.
Fresh schematic/ERC review reports zero open warnings or errors in the checked electrical/passive categories.
Approved J2 assignment completion
Repurposed J_SPARE/J2 pin 20 for ABS_FL_OUT_OEM106. Final membership: J_SPARE:20 + U209 OUT0 pins 21/22.
Repurposed adjacent J_SPARE/J2 pin 21 for ABS_RL_OUT_OEM110. Final membership: J_SPARE:21 + U209 OUT2 pins 17/18.
Disconnected J_SPARE:20, R41:P2, and D22:1 from IO_CAV23_MCU3_GPIO47; disconnected J_SPARE:21, R42:P2, and D23:1 from IO_CAV24_MCU3_GPIO48. The two now-empty connector-side net identifiers were deleted.
R41/R42 remain connected only to the internal MCU3_SPARE_GPIO47/GPIO48 nets on P1; their P2 terminals are explicit no-connect. D22/D23 remain grounded on pin 2 with pin 1 explicit no-connect. None is in series or shunt-connected to the solenoid outputs.
