Make a circuit that blinks a red LED once per second.
Power it with a 9V block battery through an on/off switch.
Use components that are easy to hand-solder.

Make a circuit that blinks 3 LEDs once per second and a place where i can mount an arduino nano. Power it with a 5V DC Power jack. Use components that are very easy to hand-solder and trace bigger circles to drill later
