Matched the top cover to the bottom cover’s exact 45 × 45 mm, 2.0 mm corner-radius profile. Both the top plate and vertical walls now use the same smooth rounded corners.

Adafruit 1766 Vibration Switch Notes
Extracted part information
  • Manufacturer: Adafruit Industries LLC
  • Manufacturer part number: 1766
  • Digi-Key part number: 1528-1766-ND
  • Product name: Fast Vibration Sensor Switch (Easy to Trigger)
  • Function: non-directional spring-vibration trigger switch. When moved, the internal spring touches the center pole and the two leads behave like a closed switch. When still, the switch is open.
  • Switch type: SPST, normally open, unpolarized two-terminal switch
  • Pin count: 2
  • Suggested schematic pin names: 1 and 2, or SW1 and SW2. The datasheet/product page does not provide formal pin names.
Electrical characteristics from the retrieved datasheet/product data
  • Maximum voltage: 12 V
  • Maximum current: 20 mA
  • Contact resistance: 10 MΩ
  • Operating temperature: -40 °C to 80 °C
  • Operating lifespan: 100,000 cycles
Mechanical / footprint information
  • Mounting type: through-hole
  • Package/case: radial can
  • Body diameter: 5 mm / 0.2 in
  • Height with pins: 25 mm / 1 in
  • Height without pins: 15 mm / 0.6 in
  • Weight: 0.3 g
  • Exact PCB lead pitch / recommended land pattern: not specified in the retrieved DigiKey/Adafruit data.
Flux implementation used
I added S3 using a library SW-18010P two-pin through-hole vibration switch as a placeholder/substitute because I did not find an exact Adafruit 1766 Flux library part. S3 has properties set to identify it as Adafruit 1766 / Digi-Key 1528-1766-ND and includes an uncertainty note.
Uncertainties to verify before fabrication
  1. Exact lead pitch and drill diameter for Adafruit 1766 were not available in the retrieved datasheet text.
  2. The placed library substitute footprint may not mechanically match Adafruit 1766 exactly.
  3. The part is unpolarized, so either terminal can be used as the signal or ground side.
  4. The contact pulse is short, around 2 ms, so the receiving circuit may need debounce or pulse-stretching depending on how it is used.
Use S3 as a normally-open switch input. A typical connection is one terminal to the sensed node and the other to GND, with a pull-up resistor on the sensed node. Since this project is based on a recreated schematic, I left S3 unwired until you confirm where it should connect, for example to TRIP, BATTERYCUTOFF, OUTPUT, or another input node.
