Here’s what the Flux documentation says about making a project private:
What is a private project?
Projects and parts are considered private when they can be accessed only by you or individually selected people. To keep projects private, the option “PRIVATE – Only you can view and edit” must be selected in the share dialog. You can still add people individually through the Advanced menu.
Note: new projects are private by default.

I hovered over the project card, clicked the eye icon, and selected “Private – Only you can view and edit” in the dropdown.

Your steps are exactly right—your project is now set to Private – Only you can view and edit.
To verify:
  • The project card should display a lock-icon instead of the globe/eye icon.
  • In the Share dialog under “Access,” it will read Private – Only you can view and edit.
If you later need to grant access to specific collaborators:
  1. Open the Share dialog.
  2. Click Advanced.
  3. Enter their email or Flux handle and set their permission level.
