The Flux Profile Page

The profile page serves as your personal dashboard in Flux, providing a centralized location to manage all your PCB design projects and showcase your work to the community.

Accessing Your Profile Page

There are two ways to access your profile page:

  1. From the top menu: Click on your avatar in the top-right corner of any Flux page, then select "Profile"
  2. Direct URL: Navigate to flux.ai/[your-username]

Key Features

Project Management

Your profile page displays all your projects, organized in a grid layout with thumbnails for easy visual recognition. Each project card shows:

  • Project name
  • Last modified date
  • Visibility status (public or private)
  • Thumbnail preview of the design

Filtering and Searching

Efficiently find specific projects using the built-in filtering and search capabilities:

  • Filter by status: View all projects, only public projects, or only private projects
  • Filter by type: Filter by schematic-only, PCB-only, or complete projects
  • Search: Use the search bar to find projects by name or description

Portfolio Showcase

Your public profile serves as your portfolio in the Flux community:

  • Share your flux.ai/[your-username] URL to showcase your public projects
  • Control which projects appear in your portfolio by adjusting their visibility settings
  • Highlight your best work by pinning important projects to the top of your profile

Managing Project Visibility

Control who can see your projects directly from the profile page:

  1. Hover over a project card
  2. Click the visibility icon (eye symbol)
  3. Select "Public" or "Private" from the dropdown menu

Organizing Projects

Keep your workspace tidy with these organization features:

  • Sort projects: Arrange by last modified date, creation date, or alphabetically
  • Archive projects: Move completed or inactive projects to the archive section
  • Delete projects: Permanently remove projects you no longer need

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Missing Projects

  • Issue: Projects don't appear on your profile page
  • Solution: Check if you're signed in with the correct account or if the projects were archived

Visibility Changes Not Taking Effect

  • Issue: Projects remain private despite changing visibility settings
  • Solution: Refresh the page or check if you have the necessary permissions to change visibility

Profile URL Not Working

  • Issue: Your profile URL returns an error
  • Solution: Verify your username is correct and that you have at least one public project
