Getting Help with Flux: Support Resources and Community

We hope you have a great experience using Flux, but if you run into any issues or have questions, we're here to help!

Slack Community

The best place for support using Flux is our Slack community. You'll be able to ask questions directly to the Flux team and meet other engineers, designers, and hardware enthusiasts using Flux.

We're a remote company with team members in most time zones, and all of us are present in Slack. This makes it the fastest way to get your questions answered, as it's very likely that someone from Flux will be online.

Getting the Most from the Slack Community

  1. Use the appropriate channels: Post your questions in the relevant channel for faster responses
  2. Share project links: When asking for help with a specific project, include a link to it
  3. Be specific about your issue: Clearly describe what you're trying to accomplish and what's not working
  4. Include screenshots: Visual references can help others understand your problem more quickly
  5. Check pinned messages: Many channels have important information pinned that might answer your question

Found a Bug?

If you happen to find any unexpected behavior while using Flux, please report it in our issue-tracking tool. Someone from the engineering team will take care of it and let you know when it's fixed.

There's also a "Feature request" section where you can help shape the direction of Flux by letting us know what you'd like to see in Flux.

How to Submit an Effective Bug Report

When reporting a bug, please include:

  1. Steps to reproduce: Detailed steps that consistently trigger the issue
  2. Expected behavior: What you expected to happen
  3. Actual behavior: What actually happened
  4. Browser and OS information: Your browser version and operating system
  5. Screenshots or recordings: Visual evidence of the issue when possible
  6. Project link: A link to the project where the issue occurred (if applicable)

YouTube Tutorials

Explore our library of video tutorials, crash courses, and recorded events. There are also some independent content creators with amazing videos on how to use Flux.

Contact Us Directly

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Account Access Problems

  • Reset your password through the login page
  • Clear your browser cookies and cache
  • Ensure you're using the email address associated with your Flux account

Design Import/Export Issues

  • Check that your files are in a supported format
  • For large designs, try importing in smaller sections
  • Verify that all required files are included in your import package

Performance Concerns

  • Close unnecessary browser tabs to free up memory
  • For complex designs, consider breaking them into modules
  • Use the object tree to hide layers or components not currently being worked on
