Logic Level Shifter Design

I've prepared the following schematic changes for the 74HCT125-based non-inverting level shifter:
  • 74HCT125 Buffer:
    • Add a 74HCT125 IC.
    • Power the IC with 5 V on its Vcc pin and connect its ground pin to system ground.
  • Input and Enable:
    • Connect your 3.3 V logic signal to one of the buffer’s inputs.
    • Tie the corresponding enable pin to 5 V (ensuring the buffer is always active).
  • Output:
    • Use the corresponding output pin to obtain a 5 V level signal that follows your 3.3 V input.
  • Decoupling Capacitor:
    • Add a 0.1 µF capacitor (e.g., C1) between the 5 V supply and ground, placed close to the 74HCT125.
You can use the Apply changes button to incorporate these modifications into your schematic.
That looks perfect. Please go ahead and apply these changes to my schematic.
Below are the schematic changes to be applied:
  • 74HCT125 Buffer:
    • Add a 74HCT125 IC.
    • Connect its Vcc to 5 V.
    • Connect its ground pin to the system ground.
  • Input and Enable Connections:
    • Feed your 3.3 V logic signal to one of the buffer input pins.
    • Tie the corresponding enable pin to 5 V so that the buffer remains active.
  • Output:
    • The corresponding output of the 74HCT125 will deliver a 5 V level signal that mirrors your 3.3 V input.
  • Decoupling Capacitor:
    • Place a 0.1 µF capacitor (e.g., C1) between the 5 V supply and ground near the 74HCT125 to ensure stable power.
