- Select the empty canvas (click on any area without components)
- Right-click and select "Measure Distance (M)" from the context menu
- Click on the first point you want to measure from
- Click on the second point to complete the measurement
- The distance will be displayed in millimeters (mm)
- Create a manual measurement: Press M while the canvas is selected
