What’s already done:
  • Schematic is built for the USB-C WiFi/BLE temperature/humidity node.
  • Major parts are selected and wired: SiWG917 wireless MCU module, SHT41 T/RH sensor, USB-C input, TPS25940 reverse-blocking eFuse, MP28301 3.3 V buck, ESD protection, debug/reset/ISP, I2C pull-ups, status LED.
  • Project files were created for requirements, firmware starter, bring-up, and regulatory notes.
What remains:
  • Set PCB stackup, board size, and layout rules.
  • Place components, especially U1 at the board edge with antenna keepout and U4 thermally isolated from heat sources.
  • Route USB-C/protection, buck regulator, 3.3 V rail, I2C, debug/UART, and grounds.
  • Assign final manufacturer MPNs to all generic resistors/capacitors.
  • Run full DRC/manufacturing checks and fix layout issues.
Once ACUs are available, I can proceed with the PCB layout, routing, and passive sourcing.
