Schematic is complete for the solar-powered FJ dashboard compass: solar/LiPo power path, 3.3 V rail, ATmega328PB, LIS3MDL compass sensor, TM1637 driver, and three individual 7-segment displays are wired.
I created supporting files: Power Analysis and Firmware Starter. Electrical/passive review is clean; remaining full-review issues are expected pre-layout airwires and generic passive MPN placeholders.
Ready to move into PCB layout sizing and placement?
I’ll size the board first, then place the components by functional block with the displays and connectors oriented for dashboard use. After placement I’ll run a layout review and stop before routing.
Here's a summary of what I was working on:
Assessing tasks and layout
I'm considering the current layout and thinking there might be some constraints I need to address. It could be helpful to focus on the top-only area for the moment. After that, I might need to review the layout again to ensure everything is in order. I'll also remember to update my to-do list with completed tasks and keep track of what's still in progress. Let’s keep it organized!
Assets are files uploaded to this project which can be used in various ways.
