PCB Design for Half Adder

Your goal is to turn this Half Adder schematic into a manufacturable PCB.
  • I’ve prepared a plan that will:
    1. Map the abstract logic symbols (AND Gate, exclusive or gate) to real IC parts + footprints, and choose real connectors for (A, B, Sum, Carry).
    2. Set board constraints + PCB rules.
    3. Place and route the PCB (auto-place/auto-route).
    4. Clear DRC issues.
    5. Export Gerbers/BOM/pick-place if you want.
Click Start on the plan bar to run it. Let me know if you want a specific board size (e.g. 50 mm x 50 mm) or connector type (pin header vs screw terminal) and I’ll update the plan.

You want to start executing the plan to make a manufacturable PCB for your Half Adder.
  • The plan is ready to execute:
    1. Replace the abstract logic blocks with real ICs (XOR + AND) and footprints
    2. Add power entry + VCC/GND + decoupling
    3. Add real I/O connectors for A, B, Sum, Carry
    4. Do PCB placement + routing and clear DRC/ERC
Click Start on the plan bar to run it. Let me know if you want through-hole headers or SMD, and what VCC voltage you plan to use.
Use 5V and headers
Pick specific ICs
Check existing schematic
Run ERC/DRC review
