PCB 3D Model Alignment Fix

To adjust the 3D model offset values in Flux, follow these steps:
  • In PCB layout mode, select the component with the misaligned 3D model.
  • Open its properties panel.
  • Locate the 3D model or footprint layer settings where parameters like X and Y offset, as well as rotation, are defined.
  • Adjust these offset values until the 3D model aligns correctly with the physical component outline.
  • Repeat for each component with alignment issues.
For additional help, you can refer to Flux’s documentation or video tutorials at
.
is layout mode in 2d or 3d?
Flux's PCB layout mode in Flux includes both a 2D editor and a 3D viewer. The underlying PCB design is managed in 2D, but you can switch to the 3D view mode—like you're currently in—to see a realistic rendering of your board including the component models. Adjustments to the 3D model offsets are applied within the PCB editor and will reflect in the 3D view.
