I need an oscillator pcb design for this part number
ECS-3951M-080-AU-TR
I need to be able to shield the oscillator for radiated emissions for RE102 mil 461
There should be a ground plane under it.
There should be a pi filter on the output, designed for 10MHz cutoff
The should be ferrite bead on vcc
Vcc is 5V supplied by a LDO that uses 12V
I’m blocked from editing the project right now because execution credits are unavailable, so I could not add components or wire the schematic.
What remains to be done:
Rename/describe the project for the oscillator PCB.
Verify the ECS-3951M-080-AU-TR datasheet details: supply current, pinout, output type, enable/standby behavior, load limits, and recommended decoupling.
Design the 12 V → 5 V LDO power input with required input/output capacitors, thermal check, and current budget.
Add a ferrite bead on the oscillator VCC feed with local decoupling after the bead.
Add the ECS-3951M-080-AU-TR oscillator circuit.
Add a 10 MHz output pi filter; likely topology is C-L-C or L-C-L depending on source/load impedance and required attenuation, to be confirmed against the oscillator output drive and load.
Add output connector/test point and ground return.
Add shielding provision: grounded shield can footprint around/over the oscillator, via stitching, and continuous ground plane under the oscillator.
Run schematic review/ERC and fix violations.
After schematic approval, proceed to PCB layout with ground plane, shield-can footprint, short output loop, filtered output routing, and emission-conscious placement.
No design changes have been made to the current empty project.
