- TMDS termination resistors and TVS diodes added to the HDMI connector
- HDMI TMDS nets routed to the ADV7513 transmitter
Remaining tasks
- Add and configure ESD protection diodes for USB data lines and wire D+/D- to the USB bridge
- Implement reverse-polarity protection and input capacitors on the power jack and connect to the buck regulator’s VIN
- Hook up the programming header to the ESP32’s debug/program pins
- Add and connect supporting passives (inductor, caps, feedback resistors) for the buck converter and LDO
- Tie all main IC power pins (ESP32, ADV7513, FT232RL, flash) to 3.3 V/GND and route communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I²S, audio, buttons, LEDs)
- Terminate any unused GPIOs with pull-ups or pull-downs as appropriate
- Run ERC and resolve any electrical-rule violations
Success criteria status
- Schematic is not yet fully complete; interfaces and protection remain unfinished
- ERC has not been run—errors may still exist
- PCB layout has not been started
- BOM review and manufacturing files export pending
