IoT Solar Dryer PCB


Design an IoT PCB for a solar dryer monitoring system using one ESP32-WROOM-32 as the main controller. The system must measure temperature and relative humidity at 8 different locations using 8 sensors. Each sensor must be connected through an individual 4-wire cable: VCC, GND, SDA and SCL. Include a 4-inch TFT display, RTC module, Wi-Fi communication, 12 V DC input, 5 V and 3.3 V regulated power supplies, protection circuits, and a permanent 12 V DC PC cooling fan output. The PCB must be compact and suitable for an industrial enclosure. Recommend suitable temperature/humidity sensors capable of operating above 80 °C and optimize the I²C architecture for the sensor cable lengths.
No design changes were made; the project remains empty because no ACUs are currently available for AI execution.
Remaining work:
  • Select >80 °C RH sensors (recommended: Sensirion SHT45, rated to 125 °C).
  • Design isolated/multiplexed I²C branches for eight 4-wire cables, with per-port protection and cable-length optimization.
  • Add ESP32-WROOM-32, 4-inch TFT, RTC, 12 V input protection, 5 V/3.3 V regulators, and permanent 12 V fan output.
  • Capture and verify the schematic, then create a compact industrial-enclosure PCB layout.
Execution can proceed once ACUs are available.
