Red LED Blinker Circuit Design


Make a circuit that blinks a red LED once per second.
Power it with a 9V block battery through an on/off switch.
Use components that are easy to hand-solder.
I’ll build a beginner-friendly 9V battery powered 1 Hz red LED blinker using hand-solderable parts, then verify the schematic and add brief project documentation.
I selected through-hole parts: a low-power DIP TLC555 timer, 5 mm red LED, 9V battery holder, and a through-hole slide switch used as on/off. Timing is set to about 1.06 Hz with 1 kΩ, 680 kΩ, and 1 µF.
I added the schematic and created project files for the design notes and bring-up checklist.
Implemented the 9V 555 LED blinker schematic with through-hole, hand-solderable parts: TLC555IP DIP timer, 9V battery holder, slide switch, red LED, timing parts, LED resistor, and required decoupling. It targets ~1.06 Hz, and the schematic review returned no open ERROR/WARNING issues.
